The first Varsity game of the Panther Football season is on Friday, August 29th against Abilene High. The game will be held at 7:30 p.m. at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, Texas. The CHHS Football Booster Club will be holding a tailgate party from 4:45 p.m. – 6:45 p.m. in the east parking lot of the Expo Center (directly across the street from the visitor side of the stadium). The tailgate party will feature a full BBQ dinner catered by the well-known Joe Allen’s BBQ in Abilene. All CHHS fans are invited to attend the tailgate party and BBQ dinner
Meal tickets for the tailgate must be purchased in advance(Purchase childs free ticket also, so that we can have a head count). Dinner will include brisket, sausage, beans, slaw, potato salad, homemade bread, dessert, and tea. Adults are allowed to BYOB as long as all beverages are contained in plastic cups (no bottles or cans).
